January 2010
the world’s card for the month
The collective card for January 2010 is The Emperor. It’s the same for everyone alive this month, set by the date alone, and it sits in the initiation third of the wheel.

He sits on a stone throne carved with rams' heads, wearing armor under a red robe, with bare mountains behind him. He holds a scepter in one hand and an orb in the other. This card is about building something solid enough for a life to stand on.
