The world is magnetic today, warm and sure of its own fire, a day that draws people in. Confidence and warmth at full strength, with the quiet question of whether all that radiance is being received or just given away.

How to read this

What are the two day cards?

The card on the left is the world’s, the same for everyone alive today. Think of it as the weather the day hands all of us at once. The card on the right is yours, the angle your birthday draws out of that same day. Both are Minor Arcana, the texture of the day, the grain of how it’s likely to feel. Read them together and you see where you’re moving with the day and where you’re working against it.

How do I use my card?

It points to the shape the day is likely to take for you. Notice where you feel it. A Cups day tends to land in your feelings and the people close to you; a Swords day lives in your head and your words. The card is fixed. What you do inside it is yours.

What do the elements mean?

Each day card belongs to a suit, and each suit carries an element that tells you which part of life the day is pressing on. Fire (Wands) is drive and momentum. Water (Cups) is feeling and connection. Air (Swords) is thought, words, and where they cut. Earth (Pentacles) is the body, work, and what you can hold in your hands.

What’s the day Major?

Under each day card sits a Major Arcana card, the day’s Major. If the day card is the texture of the day, its Major is the shape underneath: the archetypal current the day grows out of and belongs to. The texture is drawn from it, so the two never pull against each other. When you want the deeper read on why a day feels the way it does, look to its Major.

What are the Month and Year cards?

The day sits inside wider currents. The Year card is the archetype coloring the whole year, the mood you often only name in hindsight. The Month card is the season within it. Both are Majors, and each comes two ways: a collective version everyone shares and a personal one shaped by your birthday. They’re the long weather you’re moving through, the context each day lands in. See January 2023 in full →

What’s my Bearing?

Your day card is new every morning. Your Bearing never changes. It’s the single Major Arcana card set by your birthday, the angle you were born bringing to everything. The day cards are the weather; your Bearing is how you’re built to walk through it. Find your Bearing →

How does the tarot numerology math work?

Every card comes from plain arithmetic on the date. Your birthday and the day’s numbers run through a few steps of addition, wrapped around the wheel of twenty-two Major Arcana, so nothing is shuffled or guessed and you’d land on the same cards working it by hand. See the whole method worked out →
